Free Google Voice Cellphone App: Send/Recieve Free calls/texts from your mobile phone using NO minutes!

"I’ve played with it and am sold. It adds free transcription to your voice messages on a tidy Web page, as well as SMS forwarding to your cell phone, and host of other goodies I’m convinced will make a lot of people run out and start using it. It’s free for national calls, and competitively priced for international calls. You can use it from your mobile phone (www.google.com/voice/m) — that’s right, free calls from your mobile phone. My favorite: a way to forward unwanted stalkers to a message that says your phone has disconnected."
In addition to the new voicemail transcription service, Google voice offers a host of other features:
– In the transcribed text, lighter font shows you where Google isn’t certain of the exact wording (see image above). Darker font shows where Google is more certain. I’ve blotted out the incoming numbers with red squares to protect the numbers of friends who tried this out.
– You can share your voice messages with other people, clicking to get code so that you can embed the messages on any Web page. You can download them if you want.
– You can report people as spam, so they won’t ring through to any phone (Google also tracks calls across its network, and when it notices that hundreds of thousands of calls are being made from a single origin number, it can choose to block that as spam).
– My favorite: You can send someone to a message that says, “We’re sorry, you’ve reached a number that is no longer connected.” The message is the same message you’re used to hearing when you call a bad number, so it’s quite convincing.
– It uses the same contact list in your existing Gmail account. You can import contacts from most other sources if you want.
– When using the SMS feature, if there’s a number listed in the message, you can click on it to make a call out.
– It allows conference calling from your phone for up to six people.
– The international rates are competitive with other services such as Skype. For example, it costs 2 cents per minute to call most European countries in the middle of the day, or 15 cents to reach a cell phone there. That compares to about $1.50 if you use your regular carrier to make such a cell phone call.
– It interfaces with other services that are open. So while it won’t let you accept calls from people using your Skype handle (because Skype’s protocol is proprietary), it does work with SIP-based services like Gizmo.
– It offers transparent billing information with things like the time of day you called, how long you called for, who you called, where and how much it cost.
– You can add notes to your messages.
– You can add personalized greetings for specific people.
– If you’re using an Android phone, incoming calls can pull up the picture of the person calling you.

DMV FASHION SPECIAL: Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Pewter” (UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL)
Seen here is a new colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite One, previously seen on the feet of Wale a few months back. Dubbed “Metallic Pewter”, the model takes on the same color blocking as the other models in the series. The upper’s foamposite material is dressed in a metallic pewter color, while the midfoot, lace stays, and ankle use a black leather. An icy sole sits below and reflects off of the metallic upper. They are set to release in Spring 2011,
Nike Air Foamposite Pro White/Chocolate-Mocha Sample (Unreleased)
The Foamposite tends to kill whenever Nike decides to drop it. We have seen several colorways make it out of the gate recently and all of them performed well at retail. It looks like Nike has one in the chamber that they are either waiting to fire off or keeping tucked in the stash. Either way this Nike Air Foamposite Pro White/Chocolate-Mocha Sample would probably we well received with its two toned brown upper buttressed by a white swoosh and sole. Here’s hoping for a Fall release of some sort on these.
Classic “Royal Blue Penny” Nike Air Foamposite Ones To Be Re-Released In 2011
If you recall, rumors of the “Royal Blue” Nike Air Foamposite returning later this year surfaced to our surprise. Yet, it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer. It will be well worth the wait though, right?
Originally released in 1997, this groundbreaking shoe is responsible for all of the Foamposite-laced shoes we see today including the soon-to-be-released Foamposite Nike Air Force 1, the Foamposite Nike Blazer and others. Specifically, it was the first sneaker to feature Nike’s innovative Foamposite technology of synthetic leathers.
Metallic Red (V-Day) Foamposites To Drop In 2011??
As per Sneaker Me Stupid, Nike is now scheduling to release the Metallic Red Foamposites. Based off the success of the Copper and Eggplant colorways this looks like this will be a another big release from Nike. While the details on the release are still sketchy, It looks like they should be out before the end of 2010 or top of 2011 . Although, details are still up in the air on on whether or not they will be a general release or a quick strike exclusive via House Of Hoops. But Nonetheless we will definitely keep you posted.
Premium Pete’s Foamposite Edition Colorways
For Would You Rock Em?? – Issue 7 we’ve put together a little something different then what you’re use to seeing in this segment. Since we launched the concept back in July 2009 we’ve been featuring various colorways of Dunks and AF1′s that we designed in Photoshop, allowing you to vote for whichever ones you would rock. This week however we’ve dropped the Dunks and Air Force 1′s and cleared the floor for something totally different, a pack of Air Foamposite One’s.
Premium Pete, formerly from Premium Laces in NYC, is one of many sneakerheads who has an uncontrollable love for the Nike Air Foamposite One. As many of us do when it comes to our favorite sneaker, Pete visioned some Foamposite releases of his own, in colorways which he feels would make a splash on the retail floor. With the help of graphic designer Dsicle who contributed his fine Photoshop skills, Pete was able to take his visions and put em on paper as they say.
Since I too have a strong desire for the Foamposites and know a lot of you do as well, I’ve based this issue of Would You Rock Em?? around Premium Pete’s visions and Discle’s renderings. In total there are three designs, the Space Jam Foamposites, the Kryptonate Foamposites and the Glowposites, all of which are pretty dope in my opinion and well worthy of being production models.

Sade Says No To Collabos With Jay-Z & Other Rappers
Jay-Z is one of the greatest rappers alive, but that’s not enough to convince singer Sade to do a collaboration. The British songstress recently admitted she has turned down requests from rappers including Jay-Z.
In a recent interview by Nelson George with the Los Angeles Times, Sade reveals that Jay–Z and other MCs have approached her about rapping over her beats or having her sing the hook on their records, but she has politely declined.
“I’m too scared,” she says. “They’ll find me out. It’s like ‘The Wizard of Oz.’ They’ll find out there’s nothing there. As for collaborations, I’m collaborating with the band and do what we do. I see myself as a member of this band who does these songs that we write.”
Sade and her band will kick off the North American leg of their 50-city tour on June 16, starting at Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena.

Man Cleaning Gun Accidentally Shoots Through His Son and Hits His Mother
"Investigators in New Mexico say a Chaparral man who was cleaning his handgun Saturday morning accidentally shot his 4-year-old son and the bullet passed through the boy and hit the man's mother. Dona Ana Sheriff's Department investigator Bo Nevarez says both are in critical condition but their wounds aren't believed to be life-threatening. He says the bullet struck the boy in his stomach and continued through to the grandmother and hit her in the abdomen"

Sources say that Bieber became frustrated when the kid cornered him and wouldn't stop shooting and when Bieber told him, "That's enough" ... the kid responded, "What are you gonna do about it, faggot?"
We're told a shocked Bieber replied, "Excuse me?" Sources say the other kid responded, "You're a faggot" and then put his hand out toward Bieber and Bieber pushed it away as he left.
Contrary to several news reports, we're told Bieber never struck the other boy.
Law enforcement tells TMZ it was the boy's father who filed the complaint hours later ... and our source says the father was heard at the scene repeatedly telling people, "I'm a lawyer."
The police investigation is ongoing, but our sources say police already know the fault does not lie with Bieber.

Friday night, Justin Bieber got kicked out of a laser tag center in Richmond, British Columbia after a 12-year-old claimed Bieber hit him. Justin and his bodyguards showed up and allegedly proceeded to rough up the joint. Oh, baby.
Canadian gossip blogger Zack Taylor has more details from an employee of the laser tag place, which make the whole thing seem like a misunderstanding:
"The 12-year-old kid was surrounding Justin in the corner with his other little friends and shooting him during the game with their laser guns. Justin did what any other person would do during a laser tag game, and was just trying to get away from getting shot at and accidentally hit the kid while running away."

After 23 students were hospitalized for alcohol intoxication at the beginning of the Fall semester, Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey banned all alcoholic energy drinks on campus. While all brands of alcoholic energy drinks are banned, one brand in particular, Four Loko, was called out by name. The drink, which comes in 23.5 oz cans, in flavors like Fruit Punch, Blue Raspberry, and Cranberry Lemonade, is cheap (about $2.50 each) and has an alcohol content of 12%. Consuming a whole can of Four Loko apparently produces the same effect as drinking three beers, a can of Red Bull, and a shot of espresso.
